Welcome to Wild Peace. My name is Amanda Gibbons and I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Health Coach. My passion is utilizing principles of nature and intuitive nutrition to help you restore your health NATURALLY! 


For over two years now, I have been navigating my own healing journey through toxic mold exposure. It has been impossibly hard and also the greatest gift I have ever received. 

I have always longed to help others but it didn't come from a place of experience. The passion was there but not enough understanding. Experiencing what it is like to completely lose your health has given me a unique lens on just what true  healing means.


No one can heal you. YOU heal you. Through deep dives into your stuff. Your history, your belief systems, your experiences, your life. 


Your BODY is the ultimate guide on your healing path. Learning to listen to the voice of your intuition and the messages your physical form gives freely is the key ingredient to healing. It isn't found in the supplements or the diets or the appointments. These are all different forms of support but the true healing comes from within. 

It turns out I love to write! I have surprised myself with this discovery and write almost daily now. What a beautiful outlet. I started a blog on here and throughout my recovery I've been inspired to share what it is I am learning. My posts are personal and that is entirely the point. True healing is messy and if you are anything like me, it is so encouraging to hear about other peoples experiences along a similar path. You are not alone. Please read and share freely. I am so happy to share my story.

The Science of Life

Ayurveda, the traditional healing system of India, translates as the science of life and uses principles found in nature to restore harmony in your body. 

Feeling anxious or exhausted? Experiencing digestive complaints?  Do you have an underlying sense that your body is out of balance? Ayurveda can help you naturally restore equilibrium in your body. 

Perhaps you have heard of the Doshas or taken a What's Your Dosha? quiz online. Doshas are three categories into which all things in nature can be classified: Vata, Pitta or Kapha. We are usually a combination of two, but everyone has a little of all 3 Doshas. 

Vata: (air and space) governs the areas of movement and communication 

Pitta: (fire and water) controls digestion, transformation and metabolism

Kapha: (earth and water) oversees lubrication, strength and immunity 


When the three Doshas are properly balanced, you experience perfect health and resilience. If they are out of balance, the ability for illness to manifest is increased. Regain internal balance, and perfect health is restored. 

This beautiful healing system is consciousness-based, which means a large emphasis is placed on expanding one's awareness through meditation. There are many styles of meditation. In my training we focused on "Heart-based meditation" which is similar in ways to Transcendental Meditation. A specific mantra is selected for each individual and the meditation is practiced twice daily for twenty minutes.
