What if the point is
To go with ease
To learn flexibility
Surrender
Release
Trust
What if we are all rocks in a tumbler
Sharp edges becoming smooth
Slowly, gently, methodically
Being tumbled back into ourselves
Perfection at every point
Glistening for all to see
These are rocks from Wyoming that have been in a tumbler. But what is interesting is that all of the rocks around my father-in-law's home are round. Long ago, it was a riverbed. Over the years, the river has shifted course but the rocks remain as evidence of it's previous location.
These beauties are from the coast of Lake Michigan.
This is my gift from my favorite place: the East Rosebud River here in Montana. I was curious what it might look like if I put it in the rock tumbler, but decided against it. It's perfect with it's different layers and I love catching glimpses of its gorgeous shine. I keep it on the little shelf in my shower along with a few others.
