How do you feel in your body? Are you comfortable? Is it safe? Are you able to eat foods you love? Can you hear your body's messages of hunger or satiation, rest or movement?

I have been through a lot in regards to my relationship with my body. At times I have felt extremely disconnected, as if it was something to control and I feared that without vigilant effort, my body would rapidly gain weight or go haywire. I struggled with chronic stomachaches, constipation and burned out digestion. Living in a cycle of over-eating, under-eating and over-exercising was frustrating, depleting and time consuming. I knew there had to be an easier way to live comfortably in my own skin. Through intuitive nutrition, I have learned how to decipher what type of foods my body needs. This includes a wide variety of plant-based whole foods or other types of fuel such as human connection, love, time in nature and alone time. What fuel are you craving?

There are so many different schools of thought when it comes to the perfect diet. Paleo, keto, vegan, omnivore, grain-free, gluten-free. The list is endless and ever-evolving, all with valid arguments to back them up. How do you know what's right for you? Your body will tell you if you understand how to listen.

Finding a balance can be complicated. While we are so much more than our physical vehicles, how we feel in our own skin is vitally important to our human experience and directly impacts our ability to pursue our dreams.

Every single body is different and beautiful. You have a unique constitution that determines what your specific needs are for nourishment and movement. I can help you create an eating plan to fuel your body that is uniquely designed just for you.

Did you know there are many properties of food that we usually don't hear about?

For example, there are 6 tastes. When incorporated into regular meals, these 6 tastes help us feel completely satisfied and eliminate cravings.

TASTES EXAMPLES

Sweet fruit, starches, honey

Salty soy sauce, sea salt

Sour berries, citrus, vinegar, yogurt

Pungent chilies, peppers

Astringent . green apples, grape skins, tea

Bitter pomegranate, kale, broccoli

Try to include all of these into your meals throughout a day and take note of how you feel. Are your cravings reduced? Do you feel satiated at the end of a meal? Can you leave a few bites on the plate, however delicious, if your body has had what it needs?

These are things I can help you learn about and tune into. Let's create an wellness plan that concentrates on your unique constitution, history, and present needs. We can target specific concerns like chronic indigestion, bloating, or constipation. You deserve to feel good in your own skin and I can help you achieve it!
